Q. through incidents in our life, through our mistakes. Does this make us any closer to the path of enlightenment? Asked by Hummingbird - Sun May 24 14:22:48 2009 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. I think the third poster Dorothy C said it all. As the good book says that man can continue to learn but never are able to reach the truth. I mean shouldn't all knowledge lead to truth? If truth is not sought then what is knowledge pointing to? In this life there are magnetic things like lead pipes or bars. Their magnetic properties are random with no direction. But if you pound it they align themselves with the earth's magnetic field. The total sum knowledge of man points to truth and as such what I call enlightenment.
